Sumolounge Omni Bean Bag

A few weeks ago I received an email from a guy called Andrew who works for Sumolounge.com. In the email he explained who he was, what his company did, and asked whether I would like a free Omni bean bag in exchange for a review on Filmonic. Because of my location on Earth (England, nowhere near London) I don’t have the opportunity to get free early screenings and all the other freebies that a lot of other movie sites and blogs get. This was actually the first freebie I’ve been offered since Filmonic started around 2 years ago, so I decided to snatch it up…and who wouldn’t want a free bean bag?

I was given the option of either an Omni or a Sumosac. I went for the Omni as it came in what I’d like to call ‘Filmonic green’ (see image above). The order was placed and the excitement of owning a cool bean bag slowly subsided after a few days, until I forgot about it entirely. Two weeks later there was a knock on the door and a confused delivery man stood with a huge package next to him. I dragged it inside, unwrapped it and there was my Omni bean bag. The images on the website show a nice looking woman sat on the bean bags, but being sceptical I thought that they may have hired a small woman to give the impression the bean bags were bigger than what they were. But I was wrong. It was much bigger than I thought it would be and the great thing is it’s large enough for me to sit on at my desk. I will now be updating Filmonic in the comfort of an Omni bean bag! You can use these bean bags for watching a movie, gaming, reading a book or just for relaxing.

Even though mine was free I would be willing to pay the $149 (£99) for one. Sumolounge sell bean bags that are all shapes, sizes and prices, and they even sell bean bags for your dog. They deliver to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong and i’m sure they will be expanding to other countries over the upcoming months. If you are tired of chairs or just want something comfortable to sit in while watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy (Extended Edition) then a sumo bean bag will be ideal for you.
