Sumo makes Urban Lounge Gear. Today, I’m reviewing the Sumo Omni, the largest pillow I’ve ever seen. Sumo says it’s a beanbag, and that describes what’s inside it. But it’s soft and comfortable to lie on. What’s even better is their use of a “space age rip-proof nylon,” which is much better than other fabric-based pillows which tend to stretch or stick to the skin. None of that happens with the Sumo pillow, which is easily big enough to be used as a char or even a couch. At my house, we’ve had three people on it at once.
I can’t wait to bring this to my dorm when school starts. My only worry is that the Pitch Black nylon will show light-colored stains, but Sumo says “Nothing will stain it”. It’s true that, after using it for a few days, I can confirm that the material seems very durable. If you’re looking for a couch, a comfortable and flexible chair, or just a humongous pillow- consider the Sumo Omni.
