SumoSac is actually pretty eco-friendly

I know people with giant, SumoSac like beanbag chairs and though they are comfortable, I never thought one would fit into my home where I look for the greenest options I can find when shopping for new stuff. For that matter, I try to not buy new stuff much at all if I can help it. I was absolutely amazed to find out that the SumoSac, in some ways, could be considered green.

Basically, the Sacs are giant, foam filled poufy chairs. The green part comes in the foam though. It’s furniture grade foam. And it’s the shredded up leftovers from other manufacturing processes. The chairs are extremely comfortable, even for adults since they are large. My husband and I can comfortably fit in the Sultan and our dog usually joins us as well with no problems.

The Sacs have removable, washable covers and because of the foam, they won’t go flat so they will last an incredibly long time with proper care. It’s not the greenest piece of furniture in my house but, it was something I could feel pretty good about buying once I found out the foam being used was the leftover bits from other things. Because it will last a long time, I know myself, my dog and my family will get plenty of use out of it.
