The Sumo Lounge’s Omni is a sort of oversized, four-sided, maleable beanbag chair. It’s big, at 5.5 feet x 4.5 feet, but not especially heavy. And the outside is made of some space age canvaey material the manufacturers say is nearly indestructible. In terms of daily wear and tear, my experience is that they’re right. Now, spending $129 on a beanbag chair isn’t for everyone. But if you like the idea and looks of this thing (it comes in a bunch of nice colors) you’ll find on Disc 3, when the Serenity crew is mixing it up with the canabalistic and insane Reavers — and you realize that you’re bum still isn’t numb — you’ll appreciate the investment.
