What’s Relaxing About Sumo

On its website, the Sumo is advertised as “a chair, a lounge, a loveseat and a floor pillow.” I have to admit, I wondered how it was possible to pull that off–at least, I did, until I tried the Sumo out for myself. It has the shape of a giant pillow and offers the casual comfort of a beanbag. What makes the Sumo different, however, is its durability. The cover fabric is tough, not prone to the rips and tears that inevitably shorten the lifespan of even the hardiest beanbag.

As advertised, the Sumo does double as a loveseat. Large enough to seat two or more people, it can easily be propped against a wall to become an impromptu couch. If you need more room, its tented shape and light weight (18 lbs) makes it a breeze to pick up and cram into a corner or closet. Alternately, a few of these are a fun and easy way to fill out a room for you and your friends to chill in.

If you’re looking for something comfortable to relax in, definitely check out the Sumo. It’s easy to clean (just wipe with a wet cloth), stainproof, and darn-near indestructible (not insured against acts of terrorism). You won’t be disappointed.
