Sumo Lounge Omni Gamer Bag

How do you play your Xbox 360? I’m not talking about the clothes you wear or the attitude you bring to COD3, I’m talking about the seating arrangement for your ample behind. The Urban Lounge Gear company Sumo Lounge recognised this problem and sent us an Omni to try out.

Before we go any further, I thought you should read this:

Definitions of beanbag on the Web:

a small cloth bag filled with dried beans; thrown in games

A bean bag is a bag containing dried beans or PVC pellets, with various applications.

An Omni Bean Bag Chair from Sumo Lounge is the most comfortable seat ever devised for hard-core gamers.

Let me start by saying the Omni is NOT for the faint of heart when it comes to size. It’s bigger than a baby’s arm and feels like it could go a couple of rounds with Russell Crowe. Not that it has industrial feel, it feels great, great but strong – and at only 18lbs, even a 100lb weakling like you can pick it up and take it your bedroom when your mom gets sick of you playing Xbox 360 for 18 hours straight.

According to Sumo Lounge, the Omni is made from space-age nylon and filled with sumo beads. What that means to you and me is it’s as strong as an ox and as comfortable as a water bed and feels like a cozy cocoon – perfect for game-time and perfect for when you need to crash after a marathon session of Xbox Live. It’s 5.5″ (feet) in length and 4.5″ wide, so you need pretty good size room to pace it in, but you can crush it up and get pretty dang comfortable regardless of your boddy mass.

So, if you’re in the market for a comfy chair take a butchers at the Omni – maybe buy a couple of them and just crash on the floor – no need for a bed, chair or sofa!

Here’s the specs and some shots of the Omni in action.
